I’m interested in manually disconnecting my sway bar on my 2022 JLUS. Does anyone know, when reconnecting my sway bar after wheeling, if any of the bolts/screws need to be torqued? If so, how much? It’s bone stock, by the way please and thanks

I will be installing a Jspec 2.5 inch lift kit for my JK and it comes with everything I need (I also ordered control arm drop brackets), except for extensions for the rear sway bar. I was looking at videos and they just drill a hole about 1 inch upper where the mount is but I was thinking about...

I have a 97 Tj with a 2in “puck” lift on bfg 33’s. I recently noticed that when hitting a speed bump at any speed the front axle rolls over fine and you barely notice but as soon as the back axle goes over it almost throws you out of the seat any suggestions on how to fix this? I have 4 new...

After much searching, I am starting a thread to document the installed depth (distance from the sway bar) of sway bar links. Does anyone have measurements they would like to share for aftermarket links? OE Mopar rear link: 1.615 inch

Just joined the forum, have not been able to find an answer. Here is the question. my 2008 JK 35" tires, 4" lift, is a real handful to drive past 50mph. It has some serious sway issues while turning the wheel left to right. Or just hitting a rough patch. I disconnected the passenger side swaybar...

I just got my 2009 Jeep Wrangler in October and I am new to the jk world and the maintenance that goes with it, but I'm learning. Let me start with my first mistake: I let someone borrow my jeep for a few days while I was out of town. Got it back and only minutes after driving it noticed a...

If you use the stock electronic sway bar disconnect in a Rubicon and then turn off the ignition and take out the key and then restart will the sway bar still be disconnected or does it reset to connected?

I have a 2006 Jeep Wrangler/TJ Rubicon and I just noticed the bracket mount that holds the sway bar on the axle is broken. Any suggestions on fix? I read on the JT board to just disconnect both sides and forget about them. Any truth to that? Thanks in advance....

Hey all, I bought Rough Country Front Sway-bar Quick Disconnects and I have now had 3 bolts fall out while driving. The hardware in the top connection just does not want to stay in for me. Am I doing this wrong? Can someone provide more detailed instructions than what came with the kit: “Install...

Sway bar module has gone out again. Second time in 3 years. This time it took out the fuse block and the main computer. Can you just bypass this module? Already cost over $2,000 and the sway bar will be almost $2,000 more. So can it just be bypassed and made do without.

Hey guys! So I decided to go with the JKS Quicker Disconnect sway bar links, and I'm just curious who all has done this and how did you secure your sway bar to keep from gnarling up a tire? I've heard zip ties are great but they break I've heard they should be tucked up and have heard they...

I've done my research and know(think!) the actuator failed because it filled with water. My question is how did the water get inside the unit? The big seals look ok, yet there was a significant amount of water that I assume shorted the circuit board. There is a little hole inside the...

Hi All - I just installed a BDS 2" lift and it looks great and feels like it drives well too! After the install I have a few questions: 1. I have some vibes. It seems the vibes happen primarily when accelerating and the more aggressively I accelerate the worse the vibes. I have heard that...

I have the Mopar 2" lift installed on my 2016 JKUR Hard Rock and yesterday I installed the American Thunder exhaust. According to the instructions there is supposed to be 3/4" of clearance from the pipe to all parts of the body, but as you can see from the pictures the rear section of pipe is...

2012 JKUR stock Rubicon 85000 miles on it. Jeep was sitting for hours, engine cold. Jk self ignited according to dealer, Sway Bar motor shorted out and started a fire.. My fault, Really???? The whole jeep could have been destroyed if not for a neighbor noticing the smoke and calling the...
