Ok, my jeep 4.0l 5 speed started misfiring and check engine light started flashing. Code for misfire cylinder 4. Put a new set of plugs, new TPS and new PTS on. Now it will not fire, cranks strong but will not start. Got frustrated and shut the garage up for the night. Puzzled? i wondering now if I didn't get the PTS wiring snapped in good ( the wiring seemed to be about an inch short ) I also have never worked on an engine that didn't have individual plug wires and I wondering if I pushed the plug bar down far enough as I only barely tightened it down? Any thoughts?

Fixed!

Found the problem, connection on the PTM sensor was not fully snapped. Put a zip tie on it to ensure it stays connected. The new replacement was about 1/2 inch short on the wiring. Cleared the codes and drove it 40 miles running around the flood areas here in Louisiana and it seems to have fixed my misfire issue. Runs stronger and smoother than it ever has since I owned it. I believe the issue started from the cheap auto lite spark plugs the previous owner had put in it. Time will tell.
