Hello guys, today I had a problem with my jeep. Every time i would accelerate the jeep would start to shake. So I kept on driving and out of nowhere I heard a loud pop. I would accelerate and the jeep wouldn't go anywhere. So I got off and tried to see what was the problem, I was missing the whole rear drive shaft. Can someone help me figure out why this happen and what parts do I need to replace. Thanks!

Yeah, the U joints broke.
1st you are going to have to find the Drive shaft
2nd after you find the drive shaft take the jeep & the reaquired drive shaft to a mechanic. Or if you are feeling up to it, watch a few YouTube videos on how to rebuilt Ujoints. But since your drive shaft bounced away from your tj while you were driving the shaft needs to be checked to see if it's still balanced or even goo for that matter & that will require a drive shaft specialist and their machine.

Output shaft (splines) on the transfer case is snapped off. The t-case will have to be repaired with at least new output shaft, bearing, and seal. Pinion yoke needs to be checked, and possibly replaced, and new or rebuilt drive shaft installed.
This is best case scenario. It could be worse once you get into it.
