I have a shot at purchasing this LJ 6spd hard top. 5 owners. 155,000 $14,000.

Here are some pics. Appreciate thoughts on condition of frame or other items you pick up. Thanks!.

the bodylift is a bit extreme, over 1.25" is ill advised, that looks like its closer to 3"

it appears that the frame had some surface rust and someone painted over it, or it may just be the pics. its a good idea to check the inside of the frame to check the condition.

looks like a pretty clean LJ though

Yeah, too much body lift... But you'd be reworking that anyways. I'd say 1" or 1.25" is max. Curious what they did with the fan shroud for that....

Doesn't look too bad, but as mentioned above, a quick look inside the frame is needed.

An '06 LJ is a beauty though... Maybe I'm biased. ;)

Is it strange that there seems to be no "unlimited" badge?
Doesn’t the second picture have a patch welded to the frame? Maybe I’m wrong. Is that something else?
what tires are they?

Thanks for your good eyes! According to seller, who says he had mechanic check it out, it's not a patch. he sent me pics he says are of other LJs with same feature.

That is an extreme amount of lift for tires that are a stock height, just a bit wider. The 31x10.50R15 are the same height (30.5") as the stock Rubicon's 245/75R16 (also 30.5") but narrower at 9.85". The extra width (.65) can be handled with after market wheels to avoid rubbing on full turns.
Seller said a 2 inch lift.
Looks more like 3 but pic maybe deceiving
