I just looked at a 10th year anniversary Rubicon 4 door....$42,324 sticker!
This thing has the works including two tops.
I am wondering what it can really be had for? Is there a % I can take off and at least try to start from there?

Here are few other thoughts about even buying this JKU.
I know I will end up going with a 3.5 short arm lift and most likely the Fox reservoir or Ranch 9000's shocks. I will be running new wheels and 35's. I will also be changing out the color matched finders for a set of Poison Spider tube fenders.
I would consider a non Rubicon to build up like I did the first time, but there are few things on the 10th that I really want. That hood...the bumpers...Red seats...Matching hardtop...
I suppose I could get those items (maybe minus the seats) and add them to a Sport S that is in Billet but would need to get a Sahara to get the matching top which I happen to like on the 10th.
I wonder what it would end up costing once I added all those things including having the hood and fenders painted to sport. Then there is the whole thing about running a 10th hood on a non 10th. I really am not trying to build a clone...I just like the hood.
Lets hear your pros and cons...plus the lowdown on price for the straight up 10th.

Here's my wild-ass guesses / subjective opinion / pros and cons

If you were a dealer in Cali with a 10A 4 door on the lot, would you discount it or hold out for an impulse buyer to show up?

Do you really want a 3.5 inch short arm or could you run your selected tires and choice terrain on a shorter lift? Like a high quality AEV, TF or MC 2.5(ish) kit?

Rancho 9ks (great shocks) and Fox Extended reservoirs (great too) aren't exactly in the same ball park in terms of market price. IF money is an issue at all, Rancho is the popular choice.

I'd say you can get a 14 color matched Rubicon on order close to invoice and get out the door an on to the bolt on parts you settle on for less than an off the lot 10A. Yes the 10A features are bad ass / functional / worthy of breaking the whole "shalt not covet" rule, but if it comes down to the hood, order the part while you can and save up the bones to get it painted to match later.

Maybe it's me but a sticker of 42,324 with dual tops and loaded doesn't sound right.

I got the body colored hardtop and flares, 430n stereo, remote start, 4:10 gears, auto climate and the sticker was 45K, almost 46K. I was able to get it pricing down to $42,300.

When you say loaded, you mean it is nicely equipped from teh factory or it has all of the options? I don't think it is possible to get a loaded with options JKU 10th Ann with a sticker of 42.3K

Bang on accurate. My 10A with Auto, 4.10s, black hardtop, automatic climate, & remote start was 44 and some change sticker. Not really much to it, but it adds up quickly.

I will look again today but I did not see one option that was not on the sticker. The mistake I could have made was in the first two digits (42) It may have been 44. I looked at a lot of JKUs on this lot. They have a load of them (about 20) including a black JK8
