I've always notice a lot of fumes on cold starts, but never blue smoke until today when I started it outside of the garage and the late afternoon sun caught a huge amount of smoke swirling around the vehicle.

I did have the dreaded head replacement at 12K, but I'm now at 15K, so would have thought the valve seating would have worked itself out by now.

canadajeepers posted on this a couple of months ago. Anybody else seeing a lot of smoke on cold starts? Any thoughts on what's going on?

blue smoke=oil burning so I am guessing another head is in your near future.

might be the other head. they've redesigned the passenger side head 3 times, although hardly anyone has had a problem with it.
