I tried a search....no luck.
2008 JK.

Does anyone have the 16" wheels?

I put some 285/75/16 shoes on it and they hit the sway bar BIG TIME.

I dropped some nice rubicon springs and shocks on it which raised it almost 2"
but its obvious my back spacing is wrong now with the wider tread.

Spacer?

Has anyone done this before? If so what size?
I dont want it looking stupid or unsafe...

Before you say go buy new 15" wheels I cant. I need to use these.
I have too much invested in them so I need to make it work.

Help??

Rolled one of wheels up to it just to take a gander....its gonna look nice
if I can get it going....

I had a set of 285/75r16 for a while. I had no rubbing with 4.5" back spacing.
I'm guessing you just need a set of wheel spacers to correct your problem.

Thanks....I media blasted them and that is not paint. Its powdercoat.
Hence the reason I really need to use them.

Brakes are no problem. These are wheels that are made for this jeep.
Its the rubber thats hitting the sawy bar.

Im about positive spacers will do it but I dont want real big ones if small will work.

I was hoping someone had gone down this road before and would know which size to get.

Most posts Ive seen are on the 18" wheels and they say say just get a 1.5" spacer....but I want to do as little spacer as I can get away with.
