Howdy BigMike,

A 2" shackle lift (otherwise known as (death stilts) might not be your best option.

A 2" shackle lift shackle is 4" taller than a stock shackle. You get 1" lift for every 2" of longer shackle. A 2" longer shackle will provide 1" of lift.

What are you trying to achieve? (Larger tires, compensate for weak springs, more ground clearance)? Just let us know. You might get more answers to your question in the YJ Tech forum.

Good luck, L.M.

Aftermarket wheels with a 4" offset and a 1" body lift should do it.

Best is a 2 1/2" spring lift. Some 2 1/2' kits come with a transfer case drop in case it's necessary.

Don't cheap out with longer than stock shackles.

Just my opinion. Other posters may disagree.

Good Luck, L.M.,
