I just bought this wrangler and it was runnning great until I degreased the engine? I covered the fuse panel and wiring going into the firewall with plastic. I also covered the cap and spark plug wires the best I could. During cleaning I had the engine running and it never stalled or had any problems. After cleaning I took it on a 111 miles drive and it ran great. I parked it and about an hour later i went out to start it and it would not start. It took three cranks to start and when it did it would not idle and the check engine light was on? I took it for a ride and it stalled at every stop sign and spuddered in every gear? I took the cap off and sprayed air in it and found no water at all? I also sprayed the air al around the engine compartment looking for water and found none. I read the engine codes and found three codes. One said the battery had been disconnected in the last 50 cycles and one was to to with the ac that does not work any way. And the last code was for thr throttle position sensor. Does any one out there have any ideas? I feel that i may have got the throttle position sensor wet but i dont want to buy a new one and that not be the problem? I changed the oil/filter, air filter, fuel filter and thats where I left off. Thank you in advance for your time.
