rare thing, that 94 cj. your car may be able to do the job.

No, 4 cyl works fine for me...I have 2 4 cyl. yjs with plows, no problems at all. You live in Philly, so it will be even easier for plowing...I live in the snow belt. The idea is to get a plow designed for your jeep, not a truck.

People put plows on quads. Jeeps must have more power, even a 4 cyl.

Exactly...people crack me up about the 4 vs. 6. Hell, My Uncle's CJ2A has a plow and it is a 4 cyl., but no one ever complains, "why would you own a 4 cyl...blah, blah..." Jeeps were born with 4 cyl. and did/do just fine depending on what you want them to do. Every time I here someone complain about the 4 cyl. vs. 6, I throw out, "well why not a V8..." Guess it's human nature...never satisfied...lol...:D
