I have a 1995 Jeep wrangler that will crank and run on 2 cylinders, sometimes it will crank on all 4 cylinders and run for about 10 miles and then it will just shut off. I have changed the plug wires, distributor cap, rotary button and coil.When it runs on 2 cylinders it is run on 2 & 3, 1 & 4 are not firing. I thought it was the pickup in the distributor so I changed the distributor, now it is running on 1 & 4, and not on 2 & 3. Does anyone have any suggestions before I buy a new computer ? :confused:

Have you checked the crank position sensor?
