After wheeling this weekend at the the top of trail head shut jeep off and would not fire till it sat for about 1.5 hour. Not over heating running at normal temp. Got home and replaced crank sensor thinking it might be it. Same thing came up to operating temp shut off would not start. Acts like it wants to start at first but nothing. Looking what to go after next. New fuel pump last year. Any thoughts? Thanks

Remove both battery connections, clean the inside of them plus the battery posts with something like a wire brush, then reinstall them tightly and see if that helps. Dirty/loose/corroded battery connections can cause that even if they look ok to the eye.

Checked and cleaned connections no change. What is odd once it cools down after about an hour or so it starts up and will run like there is nothing wrong till you shut it off and try to start it If you do not let it come up to normal temp shut it off it will start right up.

Keep a spare spark plug to check spark and a fuel pressure gauge with you. That will give you some direction when it happens again.

Just got a crank sensor code again. Just replaced it today. Would there be a relay I am missing to throw this code again.
