$6,000? All right. For steering, many opt for the savvy/currie setup. Rancho does have the stiffer springs, so you may want to try OME (2", 2.5", and 4" springs available, plus different rates), or savvy/currie (3" and 4"). All I can think of at the moment. Bilsteins are a popular shock option, but they add in a truck ride. Rancho xL9000s are fairly soft and highly accepted. OME has nice, soft shocks also. Or, at your budget, I might think of Fox shocks, which can be had at BDS's site for around $100 each. If you're planning on a shorter lift (less than 3"), look at high clearance fenders such as TNT, Rokmen, Metalcloak, or Poison Spyder. 3"+ and you'll want an SYE and DC shaft. I'd also think of a body lift for an extra 1" lift that's fairly inexpensive. And that's all I can put together at the moment. Definitely consider what others have to say also.
