Okay all just ordered wife a 2015 jku sport with 3.73 and limited slip along with the 24s package and auto trans, she will use as a daily driver in the northeast (rust belt) area of NW PA so a lot of winter snow and ditch crawling for her. She will need some clearance for the area were in but no rock crawling . We see so many great streams but not really sure what she needs for the best lift and wheels and tire sizes still.
She will for looks be going with a new front bumper with a wench for those many winter days that leave us in ditches on the back country narrow roads
Our research shows a 2.5 lift but not sure what one and what shocks along with 33s or 35's. Thanks for the replays in advance

LOL LowfatBacon!!! The AEV dual sport is a nice kit and works really well. I like the Rock Krawler kits and you could run a 2.5 stock mod with geo relocation brackets or the AEV with the geo brackets. Up where you are at I would look at Fox shocks, or the RRD shocks from RK since those are aluminum shocks and you will probably see roads with salt on them.

This right here will serve you well. You can run 35's, but 33's are more practical. Then there is the growing popularity of the "mid" size tires, like 295/70-17 which is half way between the 2...
I saw some great looking JKUs with the 295s and have 3.73s myself, but from a lift perspective that gets a bit muddy. Could I run a Rancho Sport 2" or RK 1.5" and get away with it on those taller tires? I would go 35s, but if I can save a regear, well, that's more money towards the '59 CJ under a tarp and waiting for a rebuild....
