This right here will serve you well. You can run 35's, but 33's are more practical. Then there is the growing popularity of the "mid" size tires, like 295/70-17 which is half way between the 2...
I saw some great looking JKUs with the 295s and have 3.73s myself, but from a lift perspective that gets a bit muddy. Could I run a Rancho Sport 2" or RK 1.5" and get away with it on those taller tires? I would go 35s, but if I can save a regear, well, that's more money towards the '59 CJ under a tarp and waiting for a rebuild....
