So tomorrow I'm going to check out a 2001 TJ. It has the 4.0 with a 5 speed, Dana 44 rear dana 35 front 3.73 gears a rustys 5.5" long arm running 35's. Tom Woods driveshaft and SYE. It sounds like its set up just right but I'm wondering how the 4.0 will pull the 35's having the 3.73 gears? I'm going from the 2.5 with 31's to that lol

A Dana 44 rear is very nice to have, and just so you know, it probably has a Dana 30 up front. Dana 35's are only in the rear of jeeps. :thumb: it sounds nice, but definitely should be regeared to probably 4.88 or higher for that setup. Pics? :wavey:

No such thing as a D35 front solid axle. It has a D30 front. It's gonna have no power with 35"s and stock gears.

It'll probably feel like your current 2.5 and 31's if not slower. Is that pink? Sometimes red looks pink in some pics.
Nah it's red. That's my only downfall iv seen is that red. But that's nothing a little rattle can black can't handle

I thought stock gears was 3.07's?
Stock was 3.07 and 3.73 and for Rubicons 4.10.. The 3.07 was a less common gear more meant for better MPGs. But you have stock 3.73 gears. I have 3.73 with 33"s and 5th is almost useless.
