so, i sent my newly purchase 2003 TJ through MD inspection and it came back needing 2 things to pass, which I'm happy about being it has 140,000 miles. First it needs front drivers ball joints so I'm doing both sides this weekend. I'm more worried about the second item. The REVERSE LIGHT!!. When I shift into reverse (manual) the reverse light goes on but as soon as I let pressure off the shifter, the light goes out. It does stay in gear. Inspector no likey... I already replaced the reverse light switch before I sent it to be inspected. That wasn't the problem. Is the a way to adjust the shifter linkage or something? Anyone run into this before? Any help/advise would be appreciated... thank you!
