Was wandereing if a trained eye could look at this pic and confirm that this is a dana 30 rearend.It is a pic of my 2009 JK . I was told that it was but i wanted to make sure.

There are no Dana 30 rear ends. Dana 30s are a front axle. As far as I know all JKs come with Dana 44 rear axles.

All JKs do come with Dana 44. Depending on transmission and model, you may have 3.21 , 3.76 or even 4.10 gearing.

Im trying to figure out the gearing also, I bought the jeep used from the dealer and the tag is removed from the rearend so im not quite sure of the gearing either. Thanks i appreciate ya'lls feedback

Jack up the rear + put it in neutral + place a mark on the driveshaft + rotate rear tire one full revolution + count how many revolutions the driveshaft makes = gear ratio (~3=3.07, ~3 1/2=3.55, ~3 3/4=3.73, etc.).
