Need some help! Dealership has not been able to diagnose or duplicate. 2 issues! Currently I have a 2010 JK Rubicon 93,000 miles that has a very long crank after sitting over night or a few hours. It is like it is not getting gas and is getting hung up and keeps cranking. Dealership has replaced spark plugs and completed fuel injection cleaning. Also it has a skipping or miss when driving between 40-50 mph. It almost feels like a bad spark plug wire causing it to skip or miss. I don’t think it is the transmission. I am not sure if both are related. I have also heard that it may be a wireless module behind the ignition key switch, but I don’t know where to start. Any suggestions would be great.

I would look for a leak in the system - like its losing pressure over night - hook up a pressure gauge to the system and leave it on overnight to see if it drops.

Thanks for your post. Do you think the two problems are related or separate. Where do you hook up pressure gauge to the system?

Google these phrases, a lot of other potential causes:

“fuel injection hard to start over night” or
“long cranking”
