I take it off before going offroad, this '13 has easy to remove push pins and it tales maybe 2 minutes to take it off and put it back on. I'm sure one day I'll forget to remove it and rip it off, then I'll leave it off
Besides aerodynamics I would think it helps keep the engine bay a little cleaner, with it off it seems to get pretty filthy under the hood quick. Plus it may also help with airflow through the radiator/condenser.
bubba - you'll see a theme here... :whistling: one way or another it'll come off... if you're wheeling... the trail will claim it. if not, well - just remove it anyways. your rig will look better without it!
