The great part about the TL discount is that it could be applied towards any deal you already have worked out with the dealer. They are reimbursed a portion of the discount afterwards so its a win-win for everyone. I also was able to combine it with the affiliate pricing given through the AAA membership. So dealers won't combine the discounts but mine did and I was able to negotiate and additional 1% making it 3% off invoice. Finally, he used the concourse lease rebate of $100 after taxes to bring my final price a little over 6% under invoice. There are several resources a dealer can tap into if they are motivated and willing to do so for you, the trick is knowing everything before hand and requesting it. Good luck.

One other thing regarding the TL discount. The site says that you need to be a member for at least 30 days before being able to obtain a code. I tried as soon as I got the packet and got the code without any problems.

Good to hear, I'm planning on bringing both TL info and my USAA info with me next week to hopefully get some sort of combo deal. I figure worst case I'm looking at just the USAA one and even then that's a really good deal with the flat $1000 off in addition to the 1%.

the $1000 off was from a concourse lease rebate. In order to qualify you need to have been leasing a competitors vehicle. I don't know if the rebate is still active. Also, note that its applied AFTER tax unlike the other discounts (USAA and TL) which should be applied BEFORE. Good luck.

??? I think you're misunderstanding me, the $1000 I speak of is a USAA discount on select mfr's and Jeep is one of them. It's a flat $1000 discount in addition to whatever USAA normally would give you off the invoice.

Told the dealer that with the TL discount, i can get the 1% under invoice from any dealer i walk into and if he would offer 2% under i would do the deal and order my Jeep from them. If they had stock of what I wanted, I'm sure I could have gotten another 1-2% off, but it was worth the $60 memembership.

The code is on your membership letter. You must have that letter to use the discount at the dealer, so, you need to get in touch with TL somehow

I got the code off TLs website and my email for my membership was enough for membership proof.

Just purchased a new JKU yesterday with the TL program. It was a painless experience and well worth the $60 membership investment.
