Hi all, first time posting and am having issues with taking off my hardtop and installing a soft top I bought. The jeep I'm removing the hard top from is a 2013 jk 2 door. It never came with the soft top option so I bought the roll bar brackets (https://www.quadratec.com/products/11132_9107.htm) and (https://www.quadratec.com/products/11132_9106.htm). The soft top I bought was from Craigslist however it is a brand new 2013 premium twill mopar top. All I need are the bolts that mount the roll bar brackets (links above) and the bolts that mount the soft top to the roll bar brackets (links above). Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Wait so those round head screws work for both putting the brackets on the roll bar as well as putting the frame of the soft top onto the brackets?

The above just attach the brackets to the roll bar. There are different bolts in the bow knuckles. If your top did not come with the bolts, you might want to install these. I have them on my soft top and they make it a breeze to install.

If you go this route and replace the knuckles, drill a small pilot hole for the screws in the new knuckles instead of brute forcing the screws.

Thanks guys! @ MTNJeep, you were right, I had one of those I bought by accident and just ordered the other 3 from Quadratec.com and was able to get those brackets on no problemo! I also needed these guys to get the soft top itself on those brackets:

@ TurkTTR, thanks for the heads up, those are really cool, I'm going to look into those!

So right now I got the top practically on but the sunrider mechanism seems to be missing a few things. Lack of a few words, I'm learning the hard way. The windows don't fit too, because they are meant for a 4 door, again hard way...

I have the sun rider side bow on (https://www.quadratec.com/products/11132_9124.htm) but when you open the latches on the windsheild and slide that little sleeve (https://www.quadratec.com/products/11132_9152.htm) into the front position (open position), it should simply fold back. So here's my problem, there's no part holding those two bars together when folding back the sunrider top. Call me crazy but is this what I need:? And if yes, is there anything else I need to make sure its complete?

The sunrider part should have a couple tabs that click into the door surrounds so you can flip just that part back and keep the back of the top still up. Mine has a broken latch for the door surround part, so I'm either all on or all off anymore. The slides are needed to keep the sunrider part rigid so it doesn't fold up. This allows the soft top to fold all the way back and not get bound up over the roll cage.

They sure do! I'm pretty much up and running but the windows I was sold are for a 4 door. So right now I'm waiting on my windows and I think I'm good to go! Thanks again for all the info. It's very helpful to this Jeep newbie.
