I'm going to look at a new '13 Rubicon Unlimited tomorrow. It's listed at 35k and is literally EXACTLY what I want. If I built one straight from the factory, this is what I would build... Billet with connectivity and nothing else. It only has a soft top, but thats not the end of the world. My question is with the '14s out, what should I realistically expect to pay? There are some other Rubis in the area that are a little better equipped listed at 40 but "internet priced" at 36ish. I'm trading in my 09 A4 and won't take a penny less than 20 for it... All that being said, whats a fair deal here? If the better equipped models are going for 36, I'm thinking somewhere in the 32-33 range... Maybe get them to throw in a hardtop for short money. I think my biggest challange is going to be holding out for a decent deal because I want this thing so badly.

Future plans include selling my 99 TJ privately and using half the money for mods, the other half to pay down my loan (hopefully somewhere in the 7500 range). New tires, wheels and a 2.5" life and I'm good to go. Already have a buddy lined up to buy the rubi wheels for his new sport .

Let me know what you guys think. Worst comes to worst, I head to the other dealership and grab one of the two Billet JKURs they have.

I just ordered a JKUR '14, Billet, 6spd, heated seats, connectivity, hard top only, 430 nav and paid $35,373 (Canadian) plus tax.

A buddy of mine bought a loaded '12 4drRubicon at the end of '12 and he got it for 34k. That was fully loaded and auto, dual tops, etc etc.

The dealer that I dealt with honored the Jeep incentive pricing to clear the '13s off the lot on a '14 for me, for a value of $3250.

IMHO it would depend on the dealer but I personally would shoot for $5K off the price and go from there.

Is the incentive pricing a standard thing or varies dealer to dealer?

In Canada the $3250 was something that was listed when you "build and price" a Jeep on Jeep.ca, so I am assuming all dealers.
