I have a Pioneer NEX head unit and am trying to locate the reverse light wire in the passenger floorboard loom to tie into for automatic backup camera switching on the display. Everything else is hooked up and running perfectly, and this is the last thing on my "to do" list for my sound system. I've been putting it off for a few weeks, and now I just need to get it done...

The wiring diagram shows a Purple w/ White Stripe wire for the reverse light, but I don't see this in the loom - they all seem to be white with some type of colored stripe.

To make matters worse, it seems that FCA used different wires across the model years based on some searches I've done, so now I have no idea which wire I'm supposed to tap in to.

Would the wire that connects to the reverse light bulb at the light assembly be the same one at the passenger floorboard loom? Should I just run a wire straight back to the reverse/brake light assembly to be safe?

Any tips/advice would be appreciated!
