Such a sweet build!

You are getting better mileage with the 37"s, then I got stock... lol
That's awesome! :thumb:

You guys have done an incredible job with this build. :worthy:

What did you do for track bars?

Thanks!!

That's the problem when you've added too much stuff, you forget some of it :)
Teraflex monster adjustable track bar up front, relo bracket in back.

So, I reset EVIC after the gear break-in and drove it like normal, lots of highway, not shy on the gas when taking off, etc. EVIC now reads 14.4 LOL :D
I guess speed kills with the new gears.

Rolled 30k
Changed the oil
Tire rotation
Greased the ball joints

It's a movie star life.... :lmao:

Brutus is fit to be a movie star. ;)

14.4mpg on 37"s is great with "normal" spirited driving.

So how do you like the new gears, in comparison? Have you had a chance to pull the trailer yet?

Pulling the trailer Saturday, looking forward to seeing how it does.

I'm stoked about the new gears and disappointed at the same time. I expected more in terms of acceleration, it's better but I expected more. What I didn't expect, and what excites me the most, is how the trans shifts now. No more searching/struggling for the right gear. It's smooth like stock. I guess I didn't realize how poor my shift patterns were.

I'm happy with it, little voice in the back of my head still wonders what the 5.13s would be like :D

From my past experience, the lack of acceleration is more about spinning up the mass of wheel-tire.
I think the 5.13s would have given you faster acceleration, but at the expense of fuel mileage, and an overall "busy-ness" feeling. So (imo) you really made the best choice.
Now a 5.7 VVT Hemi would do a whole lot to help with trailer pulling, and daily driving. ;)

Was a great week of vacation, Ginger got a lot of time behind the wheel of Brutus and had a lot of fun. Like I mentioned before there were logging roads, power line trails and some cool trails thru the woods. No crawling.

Here's some more pics from the week.

And again for the folks on facebook:

The 2 minutes she let me behind the wheel:

That's about it for now. Have some new "BRUTICON" stickers coming in, nothing major planned for the next month or so.

What a cool trip!
When flying for work, I see these trails going over some pretty rugged mountains, and think... "that would be some fun!"
Glad to see that it is.

Thanks @jjeepp15 and @Comanche Scott it was a good week to wind down and have some fun in the Jeep. Took about 4 hours to clean all the dust out of the inside from the dirt & gravel. Scraped up the rear bumper on departure from one of the tight spots, little rattle-can bedliner took care of that.

Hope you guys are doing well!
