The new jeep is two months old and the parts are coming in. The build stars with a 2017 Chief Jeep JKU. The jeep is a manual tranny with a rear trac loc differential, premium top, all windows tinted, and power convience group.

Brand new

Tires arrived Mickey Thompson MTZ P3. I ran MTZs and liked them before. I wasn't able to find a lot of pictures of the new updated ones or them on a jeep so I'm going to list all the photos and info I wanted to see before getting them to help those considering.

35x12.50R15

Unmounted height

Level 8 Tracker 15x8

The wheels feature a recess in the rear lug hole. The need to remove the stock retainer clips aren't necessary with the new Level 8 Tracker's but I will remove them before mounting anyway. Tires are round and balanced well.

Congrats on the new Chief! Thanks for the measurement of the unmounted MTZ's. Can you do another measurement of them when they are on the Jeep? What's next?

Thanks very much. I will add another measurement once they are on. Lift is on the way with a few extras planned for Memorial Day weekend. I'd like to do quick discos this go around too. Grade 8 bolts will be here in a few days as well.

Installed the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift w/ shocks and front adj monster track bar and new 35x1250R15 Mickey Thompson MTZ P3s this weekend with fellow forum member GreenRubi. Also installed the Grade 8 Northridge bolt kit. Teraflex exhaust spacer will have to wait for another weekend as we were pretty sore after getting everything else done. Thankful for a wonderful friend within the jeep community willing to give up 11 hours of his Saturday to sweat through something like this with me. Install went smoothly and there were no injuries.

Thanks, we are putting in the exhaust spacer finally as well. I'm looking at some quick discos currently, thoughts?

sounds like a plan to me! get the quick discos in and you're ready to wheel. i always hear good things about the jks set, but no personal experience (rubicon)
Looks good man, always good to turn wrenches and do it for your self.

Absolutely. This is the third lift I've put on now so my fear of doing something wrong or not knowing what to do is completely gone. Love working on the jeep. Exhaust spacer is going on next weekend, looking forward to not having to worry about the shaft contact afterward.
awesome job! We really love it! what is the overall lift with the tires?
