Had some body work done on rear of Jeep. They failed to replace the cylinder retainer clip. If this happens to you, try looking brow the cylinder in the bottom corner. It fell down there and the Jeep dealerships body shop failed to retrieve it (or order another one).

I was able to get it with a magnetic pickup/pointer. I used one with a joint on the end so I could puts the magnet down and then in and under the sheet metal covering the water drain trap.


Anyway, just thought I’d share

Thanks for sharing. Having sacrificed many sockets, bits and small metallic parts to the automotive gods over the years, I can attest to how handy a magnetic pickup tool can be. Oddly enough, I carry one in the Jeep :happyyes:
