This may be normal, but I don't think so. On my 2017 JKU, when I put it in gear, the headlights come on. Even though the switch is in the OFF position, not the auto position. And they turn off the minute a put it in park??? My son's 2017 JK does not do this. Is this a factory setting or something not right? I do not want my headlights on all the times.

Thanks for the help!

thanks. so is that something the dealer has to do or do I need to purchase one?
Next time you bring it to a shop they will likely do it for free if you've got a good relationship with them. If you're planning on modding further in the future (especially tire size increase), I'd suggest getting a FlashCal or something similar. It's also helpful because you can read and clear check engine light error codes.

Good luck!

A programmer also allows you to set the TPMS monitoring to off so you can air down for offroad and run appropriate tire pressure (28-30 PSI) on the street without the annoying dash light. FlashCal here.

Have a blessed and prosperous weekend.
