I bought my 2018 Rubicon Recon new about a year ago and I’ve been piling up parts since. It’s heading to Rubitrux Saturday for its first mods. This is just phase 1 and I have a million ideas and an ever growing to do list in my head but as of now it’s getting

AEV 3.5 DualSport SC suspension
AFE Y Pipe
Hellwig Rear Swaybar
Black Rhino Armory 17 inch wheels in desert sand
37x12.50r17 Yokohama Geolander m/t
Genright aluminum swing out tire carrier
Poison Spyder front and rear Bruiser bumpers
Poison Spyder front skid
Poison Spyder aluminum Crusher fenders paint matched
Warn Zeon 10s
Poison Spyder fairlead
Factor 55 prolink
KC G34 fog lights for both front and rear bumper
KC Pro6 50’ led light bar
KC Pro6 A pillar spot beam pair
JW speaker 279 series taillights
6 switch dual led SPod
Rugged Ridge hood latches
Rugged Ridge stubby antenna
Grabars front and rear

I plan to also upgrade brakes in the near future. Recommendations? I’ve been looking at teraflex, dynatrac, and rebel off-roads restraint system. I’m assuming between the 37s and the weight of the armory wheels a regear will be necessary so I’ll probab move to 4.88s. I’m not in a rush for this.. I’ll have to see how terrible it feels. I’ll also tackle any axle upgrades that are necessary but I’ve heard good reports from folks running 37s with the recon d44s. Anything I’m leaving out? Any future suggestions? I’ll keep the thread updated with pics in the next couple of weeks. I couldn’t be more excited to get the ball rolling with this! Pictures below is the Jeep in its current state aside from the stubby antenna I’ve since added.

Looking good! :thumb:

We rolled 4.10 on our 4 door with 37s for about a year. It wasn't great but tolerable for a while.
While 4.88 feels good on our 2 door (Gobi) I wish we had gone 5.13 on the 4 door.
Thank you! I’ll keep that in mind.

Pic flipped.

Jeep is looking good!

Basically, the camera's sensor doesn't realize when you rotate the phone to take a picture. ... The reason why the images flip when you email them or transfer them to certain operating systems is because not all environments acknowledge EXIF data. This means that the orientation tags aren't being acknowledged.

Good looking Recon as well as build list:thumb:

Definitely upgrade your brakes sooner than later, keep yourself safe. I'm running the Mopar BBK, with TeraFlex rear Performance and EBC Yellows, great results. I'm seriously considering TeraFlex's new Delta Brake Kit soon.

Keep in mind the Mopar as well as the Delta kit will require the bigger booster /master cylinder. That will negate the ability to run the ARB Twin in the engine bay. I found a good work around for that. Keep the pics coming.

My girlfriend was in Boone today and sent me a few more shots of it. I couldn’t be more happy. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited! Just lacks a few things

Got it back home. More than I could have hoped for. Working with Rubitrux was such a great and easy process.
