This full-time two-speed transfer case is intuitive and allows the driver to set it and forget it, while constantly sending power to the front and rear wheels
  • The Wrangler Rubicon model features Dana 44 front and rear heavy-duty axles, enhanced off-road rock rails and the Rock-Trac NV241 two-speed or optional full-time transfer case with a 4:1 low-range gear ratio. • Dual-Door Group, with base or premium uppers, includes both full and half doors. Full-steel production doors are installed on the Wrangler while matching body-color half doors are conveniently packaged within the vehicle. Engineered, tested and backed by the factory, the new half-door option enhances the Jeep Wrangler driving experience with production styling, security and occupant protection. With lower window ledges, new half doors provide improved visibility while maneuvering on and off road
  • Factory-backed, doors-off mirror kit for Wrangler is specifically engineered and tested to original-equipment standards, providing a production-equivalent field of view with minimal vibration. Each mirror in the kit attaches to a cowl-end cap bolt and the upper door hinge. In addition, an innovative, custom thumb wheel-nut-clamp is used as an attachment point to the door flange. Mounting brackets are finished with an anti-corrosion undercoat and durable black powder-coat finish. Jeep sent me an email with my order number yesterday! LOL, now today its order tracking says it isn’t in their system but I checked and dealer shows it ordered and confirmed so not really worried.

Sport S - getting the extra half doors which is exciting.

Loved our '16 with half doors!

Currently there are 5 models of Wranglers (excluding 4XE)
  • Sport
  • Sport S
  • Sahara
  • Rubicon
  • Rubicon 392
Everything else is a "package" based off one of those models.

2 door Willys Sport 6 speed manual in Earl. Took a chance on the color since I’ve only seen pictures of the concept Gladiator from 2 years ago.

Ordered 7/21, no VIN yet. Was told 10-12 weeks but I’m anticipating a lot longer than that.

Pat, I hope that my ordering experience is not duplicated for you, but I also ordered a 2-door Willys Sport, with manual transmission, back in January, and it was just built in the second half of July, just over six months later. And I still don't have it yet!
Good news is if it takes forever I can just transition straight to the half doors in spring, lol. 12 weeks no big deal for me and gets my JK through the peak of the often dusty and dirty hunting season. If it shows up by Thanksgiving that will be a pleasant surprise.

I am planning on doing the same! My first (and only so far) had half doors and I loved the look

Ordered my first Jeep, 2023 Sport S on 8/11 with an estimated delivery of 8-12 weeks per the dealer. On 8/16, the Jeep Vehicle Order Tracking site listed it as "Order Confirmed". I also have the VIN from the dealer but it is not shown on the website yet. So far so good. Now the long wait starts.

I sure hope not! That is a long wait.

Just ordered my 2 door Willys Sport w/ a manual transmission in Reign with the Black and Tan interior. Wasn’t going to add any other options but decided on the towing kit because adding the trailer wiring is annoying 🤣🤣

No idea how long this is going to take, but I’m happy to be getting my 4th wrangler. Had two YJs in my youth, and bought a JK in 2013. Can’t wait to be out of this Kia and back in a Jeep!

Hey all,

I was quoted 8 weeks for a 2023 Willys, I have read through most of the 2022 order threads, some people still having not received their Jeeps in May when ordered in January.

Just figured I should be ready for disappointment!

Thanks

Ordered a 2-door Sport S soft top in Reign on 15 July. Got a VIN on 3 August but the tracker still only shows "Order Confirmed" so I'm guessing I'm still in C status. When I ordered in July, the dealer said 3-4 months was typical. But I know there are some who ordered after me who are already in production. There seems to be a wide variety of wait times depending on the specifics of your order.

I was told 3-4 months by the dealer when I ordered mine on 15 July. I know, as you've pointed out that some folks have waited much longer, but I also know that some 2023's already have build sheets assigned.

KME, I have seen a number of orders that were delivered only six or seven weeks after placing the order, then there are others, such as mine, that have taken or are taking seven or eight months. It is hard to tell you what to expect! But from my observations, the fully-loaded Jeeps (i.e., Rubicons and Saharas) have been taking significantly less time to deliver than many or most of the Sport, Willys Sport and Willys models, which have been tending to take the longest.

Update to Jeep Vehicle Order Tracking System for my order. Order was Confirmed on 8/11. It now shows Scheduled on 8/18 with the VIN added too. Took one week. Any ideas how long can I expect for next step, In Production?
Realistically, I'd expect at least 14 weeks from the order date. Occasionally one will arrive sooner than that, and as Chugiakguy can attest to, some take a hell of a lot longer. But, on average, 14-16 weeks is realistic for most.

We sold our 2014 Sport privately, then ordered a 2023 Sting Gray 2 Door Rubicon,
Ordered on July 21. Since I've received a VIN # and that's it. Was told 8-12 weeks.
Can't wait!!
