O.K. I've searched on three different forums and I found plenty of info to confuse me completely. Since I searched this forum and couldn't find info on it I figured it'd be a good thread to start. I have the crappy 3.07 gears in my jeep and I'm running 33's probably will for another 10 months or so. (Trust me it's not that bad with the 6 speed) I've looked at all the charts and they say they don't have a speedo gear for my setup only for early 90's model wranglers. Is there any way for me to get a speedo gear for my TJ?

Says that 25 Tooth gear for your application. Have you asked a dealership if they have the right gear for your NP231?

Depending on what site you look at, some say a 25 tooth gear, some say 26. 26 tooth is what worked in my 99 w/3:07's and 33's. However, DC does not make a 26 tooth speedo gear with a short shaft for the TJ's. If you want more info, pm me and I will be glad to give you alll the info. Bob.

P.S.- 1 tooth on a speedo gear is about 3 mph change.
