Just curious if the engine mounts are the same between the 07-11 and 12+ jk's. I know the auto trans are different between the two but the manuals appear to be the same.

I would guess they would be different between the two motors. Check with a parts store or online and see if the part numbers are different.

You are right they both use the same NSG370 manual transmission but most of the time and cost of an engine swap is the labor so why not step up to a HEMI, since all of the logistics have been worked out.

The engine mounts are not usually the biggest challenge when swapping an engine.

Part of the change in 2011 involved changes to the engine bay to allow for the 3.6. Therefore it should fit in an 11, but not prior.

The problem isn't getting the motor/tranny to fit it's the electronics.
From what I've read it's cheaper to put an LS or Hemi with piggy back computer then to put a 3.6 in a 3.8 Jeep.
