So i am wondering on my 2006 wrangler x i have a 4in lift on 33x12.50's would it be better to move from my current gears 3.07 to a 3.73 or a 4.10.. I want to find dana 44 front and rear axles but i am having no luck... so now i am looking at just getting the super 35 for the rear and a super 30 for the front. but what gears do i really need...?

I'd get the 4.10's, I have em in my tj running 31's @ a 3.5 inch lift and I love the gearing, think it will be perfect with my 33's im getting when these tires bald. Going down the interstate at 75 im running about 2700 rpm if I remember correctly, but I can also be in 5th gear doing 40 running about 1400 saving gas

It's just another step up. Like from 3.73 to 4.11 to 4.56 are all steps. I have 4.56 with my 5 speed and 33s and am very happy with it. I feel like I would have been disappointed had I gone 4.11. At 60mph I'm at 2100rpm and at 75 I'm at 2800rpm and it still has plenty of pedal left.

Do you know when making the change from the stock 3.07 gears to the 3.73 if you need to change the carrier... I am figuring with what you are running for the 4.10 you would
I'm not sure. I had to get a new carrier going from 3.73 -> 4.56, but I don't know about 3.07->3.73. I don't remember them being more than like $40 though

one thing to consider is the 6 speed the OP has is geared deeper then the previous 5 speeds. so it is possible that 4.56 may be to deep for him.

ive nothing better to do so i just plugged all the numbers into a rpm calculator thingy.

for the OP, with 4.11 gears, in top gear all his rmps match yours at 60, and are just lower then yours at 75.
