i built this kit for my car (3/4 x 16 thread size) so i could move the oil filter to a better easier to reach location, use bigger oil filters, run temp and pressure sensors, and add an oil cooler to it. i never ended up using it but it happens to work for the 3.8s maybe other motors too. the 3.8Ls run a spin on filter with a 3/4 x 16 thread as well. this entire kit will take no more than 5-10 minutes to install during an oil change. since this was going on my diesel i got all heavy duty parts with -10AN fittings and braided hoses (all aircraft grade) included with this kit is an 1/8npt oil pressure sensor, and a 1/8npt oil temp sensor. i have adapters already in the stand off plate and the sensors already in them so you dont have to put them in. if you do not want to run them i have plugs for them as well which will be included. i never put this setup on the car as i did a motor swap to a bigger turbo diesel and did something different. i have $350 into it, id like to get $250 shipped for everything.

the stand off plate is threaded in 3/4 x 16 as well so it will take jeep filters, large ford diesel filters, vw filters, really any 3/4 x 16 filter you want to put on. you can hook the hoses up in 3 different ways so it will fit anywhere you want it. to put an oil cooler on all you need it an actual oil cooler threaded in -10AN a short piece of hose and 2 more -10AN fittings.

these parts are not the cheap ebay parts that will crumble and leak with push on hoses. its the best of the best, same parts used on my race car.

no it does not, it does not need one. im guessing you are thinking about a setup like you would have for an external oil cooler. if you were to add an oil cooler it would take no effort to put one of those on there. this just moves the filter its self up and out of the way. this would be great for those that hit the trails often
