Hey guys i was wondering about the pros and cons of dropping a 3.9 cummins into my 03 jeep wrangler X. The 5.9 or bigger seems like way to much stuff to do, (reinforce the frame, make room for the engine, etc.) plus its realllyy heavy.
I know its been done, I would like to do it myself sometime in the distant future. A good running 4BT can be found for less than 4k. You will deffinetly need to do some fabrication work and I'm not sure what trannys are a good matchup.
