As winter nears I've decided to forgo snow tires on my car and use the Jeep as my winter DD. Currently running 285/70/17 KM2's on AEV Pintlers, no lift., 4.10 gearing. I'm thinking about moving to Duratracs for the winter as they are undoubtably better in light to moderate snow. My KM2's weigh 59 lbs and the 35" Duratracs only weigh a pound more at 60. Am I crazy to think that I wont see a noticeable dropoff in acceleration and they might actually be quieter? I know I could just go with 33's but what fun would that be?
From reading it seems I can pulloff the 35's (actually 34.4) without a lift for daily driving on my Pintlers. Thoughts? Any input appreciated!
