4.0 HO vs 4.0 regular?

whats the differance between the 2?

im seeing all the yj's with the HO but the newer tj's dont...

early 4.0L had around 170ish Hp.. then they came out with the HO version with 190ish HP.. YJ's got like 180 ish.. xj had 190 zj 181 ish. Thus your tj is the same thing or there abouts.

i think the only difference in the HO version and the other was that the head was different, which accounted for the extra HP

are there any BETTER engine parts? (i.e aluminum heads, pistons, crankshaft etc...)

I am sure Mopar performance has stuff.. or search for jeep speed as I know those guys upgrade the engine for events with the Xj's and stuff.
