ok i got mixed reviews on this.got a 93 2.5 ax5 swaping it with 95 4.0 ax15.i got the whole harness for the 4.0 with computer.will everything plug in and run.or will i have to use my 2.5 harness and splice in 2 injector wires.if i have to splice injector wires how do you do that.the 4.0 is out of a 95 yj.it looks like to me the plug that goes into the inside fuse box on the firewall is different.would it be easier to get a inside fuse box for the 4.0

It's alot easier to add the two wires. You can use the 4.0 harness but to me it made it harder. It's just what you prefer.

The 4.0 harness requires you to remove all the 2.5 stuff. To run the new wires you pull the 5 & 6 injector connector with wires from the pcm connector bulkhead on the 4.0 harness. The pcm is only a ground so you get your power from the main line. I think the main power line is green and black and all the other injector wires attach to it. So put your new connectors where you want them, push the wiring into the heat wrap all the way to the pcm. I can get you the diagram of the bulkhead to see what numbers you push your pins into. Push your pins into the corresponding holes, then tap your power wires into the main injector feed wires. Install your new pcm and connect the bulkhead and you are good to go. I'll try to find that pinout diagram so you know where to put the new wires. If you don't understand (or if I'm confusing you) I can take some pictures of mine.

2.5 to 4.0

did the same thing to my 93 and was wounding if you could help me out to. its all the same thing going on but not for sure witch harness to use. with the 4.0 i have to jump the relay to get it to start temp gauge don't work and it says it in 4x4. with the 2.5 it turn over but wont run at all everything seems to work with the 2.5 except the run parts of it and i bet it would only run on 4 cylinder too:banghead:
