I just installed the new TPS yesterday and it seems to have a funny spot.
The new TPS is doing it's job but I'm wondering if you can get the alignment wrong between the blade and the goofy looking TPS mechanism.
It looks like the interface is made to either work or not but it feels like the TPS gets hung up on deceleration.

Where did you get it, from the dealer or a place like Autozone? For sensors, water pumps, starters, etc., I stick with OE from Mopar sources.

Just came back from the dealer to buy a TPS for my 4.0.
He wanted $116 for the TPS.

Seems a little steep for an item discussed on this forum as being "relatively inexpensive."

What did you guys pay?

BTW it is part number 4874371AC

I paid under $60 for mine from the dealer after they said what it listed for & I asked for a discounted price. You do have to ask for a discount, they won't just blurt it out.

Plus this... at least 1-2 of these are the OE part... jeep 4874371 - Google Search

Acceleration is way better but still has a dead spot. I tried to get the code taken off today but it stayed on........frustrating.
