The mounts line up the same
4 door rubi rails on a 2 door
I'm wondering if I could pick up some rails for a 4 door jku, cut them down and put them on my 2 door? For some reason the 4 door rails seem to be listed cheaper when used. But I'm wondering if the mounts would line up on the pinch seam.

Have you cut them before? If so, will a miter saw be able to handle the job?
I haven't cut them but I did measurements from my brother's jkur and my 2dr. Chop saw would be the best but I'm sure a sawsawl would work if done slowly for nice cuts. Just rtv the end cap back on.
