Yeah i went in the deep snow for the first time a couple days ago, i was worried i would get stick with the open differentials but they worked like a charm! Was about a foot deep and i think i could probably get through 2 feet :]

That's how much I was able to push through with open differentials...could have kept going had my dang tires not been lifted off the ground by the snow packed under my diffs and/or frame. lol

It measured 19" right in front of my bumper.

Newbie here what do you guys mean by open differentials? not having lockers?
opendiff means the the torque to each side wheel is not limited. it could be 100% one wheel and 0% the other side, especially when one side is on ice and one side on pavement. the one on ice would spin like crazy.
limited slip diff or locker allow torque to be transfered to the one thats not spinning.
