So is it worth it to have touchscreen repaired or should I just move on to after market. I am content with factory radio but I do not want screen to fail this often. my jeep is a 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock with only 55000 miles
Need more info. How much to repair? Do you only use the radio or Bluetooth or nav?
Depending on the repair $$ if you only use the radio, get it fixed.
If you use Bluetooth and nav, get an aftermarket. I went with a Kenwood and love it. Total cost just under $500. Apple CarPlay, backup cam, front cam, integrated Pandora, Waze on the screen and not the phone, etc.. Brings the stock speakers to life.
Thanks, $150 for screen repair plus shipping both ways. I usually only use XM on radio ,I have a better garmin nav unit even though this has built in nav.Map is outdated and I use apple mac so it does not play well .Once in a while I use uconnect, mostly just radio. I just did not want to fix and have it happen again in a year.
