So yesterday I played around Alittle in the jeep and put it in 4wd. Now when i put it back into 2wd, the 4wd light comes on. Its sorta dim but on. Guessing It's tellin me something is wrong with the 4wd... I hope It's not the transfer case.. can't afford to fix it. It's a 2005 6spd.

If it goes back into 2wd correctly, is doesn't sound like its a problem with your TC. Probably something with the sensor/light assembly up there... Anyone?

I figured it was the sensor because it doesn't stay on all the time. It randomly comes on and goes back off. But It's only been a day and i DD it. I've counted 4 times it has come on. Past couple drives It's stayed off. Not too worried as long as it goes into and out of 4wd to 2wd safely.
