Purchased a cheaper light bar and bracket off amazon . Bracket is for a 50" light bar . Well after I installed the bracket and went to install the light bar above windshield , the light bar is literally 1.5" off on each side . I was thinking u shaped bracket might do the fix . Anyone else have this issue with a light bar and bracket not matching up??

Lockers before light bars....... Meaning, there are more important things to address before a useless light bar should be mounted. Illegal for on-road use, only good for night wheeling IF you are leading the run, pretty much a waste of money.

Sorry just my opinion

The PO of my TJ installed one and scratched the heck out of the paint on the windshield frame otherwise I'd sell you mine.

Cheap LED's are even a bigger waste of money

To answer your question, if you just can't live without it, buy a good light bar and brackets made for a TJ.

I know for a fact these fit a TJ without alterations.

I do 20mi of dark desolate country roads on my way to work, so its done well for me (bet its saved 20 deer and 30 coons and my front end this yr). even had trooper pull me over to help light up an accident scene, where they had to extract the driver
but on a mall crawler its wasted $, as u could never use it in town

but yah if return is an option, don't mess with it, get the right 1
