I've put about 2,500 miles on my 2010 JKU since purchase a couple months ago and decided to change the oil since I don't know when/if the dealer had changed it (I bought it with 20,000 miles). I don't know what weight was put in it for the last oil change, but I decided to go with the manufacture recommended 5w-20. I went with Valvoline full synthetic and a Wix oil and air filters. Then I started thinking about it (of course, after the fact)...should I have went with a heavier wt for the summer? I was just curious what you guys (the locals) are running and if you change wts for the different seasons. Any advice would be appreciated...thanks! :thumb:

. I am posting this in the New Mexico section to get specific, local, feedback due to the heat in NM.
