Does anyone know where I can buy one? I bought a 2016 Hard Rock in December 2015 and it didn't come with an anniversary badge (not sure if they actually are supposed to or not).
The badges are only meant for true, actual, 75th Anniversary special editions (which are fancy up'ed Saharas).Do you know if there will be badges specifically for the Rubicon or Rubicon Hard Rock?
Harley Davidson put a 75th anniversary badge on every bike they built that year.Well the badge itself doesn't say 75th anniversary edition, it just says: 1941 / Seventy Five Years.
This would technically apply to the 2015 and 2016 models, as 2015 was the 75th year of Jeep and any Jeep produced as of either September 2015 or March 2016 would be once the Jeep is 75.x years old.
To me it would be obvious to a purist that the it's not a Special Edition, and to the others it's not really claiming anything other than "Jeep since 1941" that is on the grab-bar.
IMO putting the emblem on isn't like putting a Rubicon decal on, etc. but others are bound to feel differently, especially those buying the actual 75th Anniversary Special Editions.
Here is the eBay linkThanks for the Mopar p/n. When I search under that, only Willy's and Compass come up. Do you know if there will be badges specifically for the Rubicon or Rubicon Hard Rock? Or are they one in the same?
Don't let others influence your decision. I say GO FOR IT and ENJOY IT!!! Having said that, I'm considering one for my tailgateThanks guys for your comments. I was a bit thrown back by the one comment that "There are no badges meant for any others, including any Rubicon or Hard Rocks, attempting to falsely pose as a 75th Anniversary special edition."
I paid a lot of money for my 2016 because of it being within the 75th anniversary year and that I believe it's the last year Jeep will make the convertible model with its iconic shape. I had read that in a few places.
The badges do not specify that it's a Special Edition, just that it's celebrating 75 years.![]()
But Jeep choose to only put them on their 75th Anniversary special editions. In other words, these badges are meant to ID only those.Harley Davidson put a 75th anniversary badge on every bike they built that year.
This^^^^.If you want to get that badge and put it on YOUR jeep then go ahead and do it, unless they are making the payments for you
Don't listen to the silly posers comments. If you are a poser for having that badge, then lots of jeep owners that never take their fancy jeeps with locking differentials to do any real "wheeling" are posers too...
It's your jeep, do what makes you happy!!!
I have a set of 25th anniversary Cummins badges on my truck. Ram didn't make an anniversary truck, a big aftermarket diesel parts company came up with the package for the 2014 model (25th anniversary)
So, from one poser to another... "Enjoy it"
Jeep chose to put these on their 75th Anniversary editions but not to the exclusion of others wishing to celebrate that heritage on their non 75th anniversary editions. But Jeep choose to only put them on their 75th Anniversary special editions. In other words, these badges are meant to ID only those.

You didn't pay anymore for your 2016 Hard Rock just because it was the 75th anniversary year. You paid a lot for it because Hard Rocks are expensive. There was no premium placed on that model for being built in the 75th year or because of rumored pending model changes. Thanks guys for your comments.
