I just did alot of work to my 89 wrangler I changed front and rear main seal out in an intermediate seal on the passenger side changer spark plug distributor and fixed a hole in the gas tank and new fuel filter now that I have it together it is running bad cant do over 45 on high way back firing I have tried everything I can think of need some more ideas to help me thanks all

Sounds like timing and/or dead cylinder. Check all your plug wires and correct location. Dist cap and rotor good? Rotor seated good?

Are you running the Carter bbd and still have the computer connected? If so, did you set the timing at 1600Rpm? That is what my underhood sticker calls for. I agree with Mr. Snow, sounds like a timing issue. Was it running fine before all the work?
