I have a 2.5 L Jeep YJ I just put in a new rebuilt engine (2.5) and it will not start and will not fire, the engine turns over though. i do have fuel pressure and the starter cranks. i checked my grounds and they seem good. what els could it be?

99% of the time the distributor is in wrong.

We don't know your skill level or experience, so please don't feel bad if someone asks questions that might seem directed to a newbie.

The best way to determine #1 TDC is with the valve cover off.

i did tdc and aligned the dist correctly and had the same symptoms
