Bought the jeep salvaged 4.0 automatic. First thing I did was pull Dana 44's out of a 80's Wagoner. Replaced all the bearings added Superior axle shafts. Regeared to 4:10 and added front and rear ARB lockers.
Then bought new Weaver springs and went spring over. I then converted to High steer and add PSC power assist setup.
Built a custom swing arm to prevent axle wrap. I started with a terra low on the T'case but when it broke added a Atlas 2.
Adding the Atlas 2 I decided to add cutting brakes because I now could disengage different axles and tractor the jeep in tight spots.
I welded end caps on my front frame tube and made it into a air chamber and ran all my air through it with a air hose quick connect.
I went with allied bead locks and 35" x 15 Kevlar MTR tires. I then built a full cage added master craft suspension seats and crow harnesses.
I bought a Currie spare tire carrier and built off it to carry spare and two Jerry cans along with a ice chest rack.
Cutt front fenders and tube them for flat fender look. Built custome front number setup add Warn 9.5 wench with synthetic line. Built a custom removable each to hold my two 9" Hella lights and coils. Other stuff I did added diff protection, backup lights, spray linered the inside, built custom console for race radio and switches, led headlights, rock lights. Led dash lights, passed the cage. It goes on and on
I bought a spray kit for bedliner on Amazon. It works great all you need it is a compressure. Make sure to sand and prep the bed good. Then degrease or wash before spraying. It's a hard texture finish. Get 6 bottles in the kit for good coverage.
