Hello,
Just did some work on the tank yesterday, installed a new fuel pressure regulator, and cut the vent hose down to size to give me the full 19 gallons. (My '97 4.0 only had a 15 gallon for some reason)
Went to fill up the tank when I was done, before I maxed out at 12.5 gallons, and yesterday I was able to fit 18.6 gallons (I pretty much ran the tank dry before I dropped it), however, right as the fuel pump shut off a bunch of gasoline came pouring through the fuel tank skid. I'm probably going to have to burn up some of the fuel before I can drop the tank again and look around, but does anybody have any ideas on what might be the cause?
